International expert cooperation continues to develop consistently.

The topic of the webinar, held with the participation of JSC "Center for Military Strategic research" and the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Military School (IRESEM), France, was a set of problems related to the possible prospects for the development of the situation in Afghanistan.

The seminar was attended by Colonel Samaran from the French side, who shared with the participants his vision of the situation related to the French military intervention in Afghanistan.

Ms. Melanie Sadozai shared with the audience her opinion on the position of ethnic Tajiks in Taliban Afghanistan, concern is caused by the declarative nature of the statements of the Taliban about the creation of an inclusive government.

In addition, the expert's attention was focused on a substantive analysis of the situation near the border, and possible complications due to a potentially unstable situation.

Mr. Emmanuel Dreyfus pointed out the specifics of Moscow's positions on the eve of the meeting in Moscow.

Ms. Aurelie Biard spoke about the first assessments of the defeat of NATO and the resolution of Afghan state institutions during the 20-year intervention.

From the Kazakh side, the event was attended by the Vice-President of JSC "CMSR" R. A. Tairov, who presented the French side with a vision of the situation in Afghanistan, in the context of the problems of the Central Asian region, drawing attention to the hierarchy of challenges and threats to security.

The invited guests of the event were representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor T.V. Marmontova (Institute of Diplomacy) and Master's student of the MIR educational program R. Nurgaliyev.

Experts unanimously agreed that the issue of the development of the situation in Afghanistan raises serious concerns, and it is necessary to carefully analyze the entire set of data that can be obtained in order to form a vision of the situation for the medium and long term.
