On 24 June 2026, the JSC "Center for Military-Strategic Research" hosted a meeting with a delegation of the National Defence University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, headed by Commodore Muhammad Imran Afzal.
During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the Center's key areas of activity, its scientific research capabilities, and the projects being implemented in the fields of military security, strategic analysis, and defense technology development.
Particular attention was paid to the development of military-scientific cooperation, the exchange of experience in strategic studies, professional education and training, and the implementation of modern digital solutions in support of the Armed Forces. The parties also discussed current challenges and emerging trends in regional and international security, emphasizing the importance of strengthening constructive dialogue between the research and educational institutions of the two countries.
The Pakistani delegation was introduced to the Center's research and development activities, including projects related to artificial intelligence, the digitalization of maintenance and repair processes for weapons and military equipment, as well as other promising areas of applied research.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their mutual interest in further expanding scientific and expert cooperation, promoting academic exchanges, implementing joint research initiatives, and strengthening long-term partnership ties.
