On May 20, 2021, an expert meeting with American specialists Mark Tobias and Gregory Ford in the field of mine clearance and explosive ordnance disposal was held at the Center for Military Strategic Research JSC with the participation of representatives of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, experts shared their knowledge on the detection and clearing of explosive objects from the terrain, the training of specialists of engineering troops, as well as humanitarian demining with the participation of military sappers in international programs, projects and operations.

Following the meeting, the parties noted the relevance of expanding scientific contacts between the Center for Military Strategic Research JSC and the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation.
