October 10, 2025, the JSC “Center for Military-Strategic Research” held the III International Scientific and Theoretical Conference on “National and Regional Security in the Light of Modern Challenges”.
Representatives of the Parliament, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, military academies, government agencies, international organizations, the scientific community, military attachés accredited in Kazakhstan, and foreign experts had participated in the event.
The conference was organized into three thematic blocks: “Regional security mechanisms: the effectiveness of international organizations in modern conditions” “Ensuring security in the face of transboundary risks: environmental, economic and infrastructural challenges” and “Modern technologies in military affairs: artificial intelligence, unmanned and robotic systems”.
The plenary sessions addressed strategic stability, countering modern threats, the role of technology and information space in ensuring security, and prospects for international cooperation in this area. Participants emphasized the importance of scientific analysis and expert dialogue in developing practical recommendations aimed at strengthening national and regional security. Following the conference, a resolution was adopted reflecting the participants' key conclusions and proposals.
The III International Scientific and Theoretical Conference became a significant platform for exchanging experience and developing new scientific approaches to addressing security challenges in today's world.
