Session on the development of unmanned and robotic systems in the Ground Forces was held in Almaty

On October 16, 2025, as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of the JSC “Center for Military-Strategic Research”, a session on “Prospects for the Development and Use of Unmanned and Robotic Systems in the Ground Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the S. Nurmagambetov Military Institute of the Ground Forces.

The event brought together scientists, military specialists, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions to discuss key aspects of integrating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and robotic systems into the Ground Forces.

Participants addressed issues related to the theoretical foundations of autonomous systems, technical innovations, cybersecurity, logistics, as well as the legal and ethical challenges associated with the use of combat robots.

Particular attention was paid to the strategic and tactical use of UAVs, the development of national models and localization of production, as well as the training of personnel to operate robotic systems.
