A branch of the Department of Regional Studies of the Faculty of International Relations was opened on the basis of the Joint-Stock Company "Center for Military-Strategic Research". The purpose of creating a branch of the department is to improve the training of qualified specialists, strengthen the practical orientation of the educational process, as well as conducting joint scientific research and introducing their results into production.

The Center for Military and Strategic Research JSC took part in the Central Asian Forum on Security and Cooperation organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KISI).

A memorandum was signed between JSC «Center for Military Strategic research» and «Center for Undisputed Transactions, Negotiations and Mediation IMC» at the Office of the International Arbitration Center

On June 8, 2023, a meeting of the members of the research group on the implementation of a scientific and technical project within the framework of grant funding for young scientists for the years 2023-2025 was held at CMSR JSC.
