The Institute for Strategic Studies (ISSRA), the National Defense University (NDU) of Islamabad organized the 3rd International Leadership and Security Seminar (IWLS-3) from March 13 to 17, 2023. This is a week-long seminar for international participants, which includes world leaders, high-ranking politicians, diplomats and top managers. The purpose of the International Seminar on Leadership and Security is to provide a common understanding and perspective on the current and future challenges of the region and a comprehensive framework for regional security.

The seminar was held in the following main areas of leadership and international security policy:

∙ Global/regional security environment and its impact on socio-economic development.

∙ Understanding global trends - human rights, climate change, cyberterrorism and transnational threats.

∙ Strategic communication.
