In Shymkent, on April 26, a republican scientific and methodological conference was held at the Schoolchildren's Palace, where teachers of initial military and technological training (BMTT), representatives of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, law enforcement agencies and the city community gathered.

The event began with the organization of an exhibition of weapons and uniforms of law enforcement agencies. The exhibition, in addition to the conference participants, was visited by a large number of children and cadets of the Zhas-Ulan Republican School named after Hero of the Soviet Union S. Rakhimov

At the plenary session, veterans of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, public organizations and representatives of law enforcement agencies spoke.

Particular attention was paid to the report of the chairman of the Shymkent branch of the Council of Veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, retired colonel Onbaev Serikbay Meirbaevich.

The event ended with a concert dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, which was prepared and performed by students of educational institutions in the city of Shymkent.

The scientific and methodological conference had a positive impact on strengthening patriotic feelings among the participants and guests of the conference.
