The seminar of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia on the topic: "CICA as an effective multilateral mechanism for ensuring security and development in Asia" was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experts from scientific organizations of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of 13 CICA member states.

During the event such questions as the military-political dimension, confidence-building measures and security in the CICA area, challenges and threats to security, the role of CICA in strengthening security in Central Asia and the role of Kazakhstan in the regional and global security system were discussed.
