JSC “Center for Military-Strategic Research” continues systematic and large-scale work to update the course “Initial Military Training” (IMT) for students of 10-11 grades of general education schools and students in technical and vocational education institutions.

This initiative is being implemented as part of the state policy to modernize the pre-conscription training system for young people and aims to develop sustainable knowledge, practical skills, and value orientations in the field of national security and defense in the younger generation. The curriculum update includes a comprehensive revision of the course content, taking into account modern challenges and threats, as well as current requirements for preparing citizens for military service.

Currently, under the supervision of Doctor of Economics, Professor A.N. Tulembayeva, Acting Inspector General and Assistant to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development of new curricula and teaching materials, including modern textbooks, teaching aids for teachers, and digital educational resources, is underway. Particular attention is paid to strengthening the practical focus of training—expanding the proportion of practical classes, introducing elements of tactical, engineering, and medical training, and teaching the basics of using modern technologies.

The implementation of these measures will contribute to improving the quality of pre-conscription training for young people, fostering patriotic awareness, responsibility for national security, and readiness to fulfill their civic and military duties.
