In Almaty, at the Center for Innovative Creativity of Schoolchildren, a Republican scientific and methodological conference was held, where teachers of primary military and technological training (PMTT), representatives of law enforcement agencies and the city community gathered.

The event began with the organization of an exhibition of weapons and uniforms of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of Kazakhstan. Then a plenary session was held, during which leading experts and representatives of the country’s security forces made presentations.

Particular attention was paid to the reports of the chief expert of the Center for Military-Strategic Research (CMSR), reserve colonel Erlan Zakiev, the chairman of the presidium of the republican public association “Union of Officers”, retired Major General Makhmut Telegusov, as well as other high-ranking representatives.

The conference also featured documentary films dedicated to the history and achievements of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, including a film about the Hero of the Soviet Union, the first Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov.

According to the chief expert of the CMSR, reserve colonel Erlan Zakiev, such a conference was held for the first time as part of the professional development of PMTT teachers together with the city akimat and law enforcement agencies. At the conference, questions were discussed about the prospects for organizing a refresher course “Development of professional competencies of teachers-organizers of PMTT in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” as well as the prospects for using the Geotactics software product in the educational process.

The event was a significant step in the development of the education and training system in the field of basic military and technological training, and also contributed to the strengthening of patriotic feelings among the participants and guests of the conference.
