Session on the potential and risks of AI in the Air Defense Forces was held in Aktobe

On October 15, 2025, following the International Conference of the JSC “Center for Military-Strategic Research”, a session on the topic of “Potential and Risks of Implementing AI and Digital Solutions in the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the Military Institute of the Air Defense Forces (MISDF) of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event brought together experts in aviation, cybersecurity, and digital technologies to analyze the integration of artificial intelligence into air defense systems. Participants discussed the potential of AI to improve threat detection, automate management, and optimize resources, as well as associated risks, including vulnerabilities to cyberattacks and the ethical aspects of using autonomous systems in modern conflicts.
