April 28, 2026, the JSC “Center for Military-Strategic Research” held an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: “Development of the Scientific and Theoretical Foundations for the Use of the National Guard Brigade in Preventing Attempts at Violent Seizure of Power in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The representatives of the scientific community, law enforcement agencies, military educational institutions, government agencies, and international researchers and experts attended the event.

The conference addressed current issues of ensuring state and national security, improving the regulatory framework, operational and tactical aspects of using National Guard units, and interagency cooperation in crisis situations.

Participants focused on countering modern threats to national stability, developing scientific and theoretical approaches in the field of internal security, and studying international experience in crisis response.

The conference concluded with the recognition of the importance of further developing scientific and expert dialogue and preparing practical recommendations for strengthening the national security system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
